When asked to introduce oneself it is customary to respond with a name. Instead, I will respond not with who I am, but what I am. I am the point of perception that resides between the experience and the expression. I am a conduit of meaning, extracting it tirelessly from the experience and then labouring to encapsulate it through the action of genuine expression.

I am a human being. I am an active, aware manifestation of a phenomenon that is affectionately known as life. It is this process of life that I have found myself romantically involved with seemingly no choice in the matter outside of the option to end it prematurely or not. Though this has seemed a compelling option at times, I find myself at a stage where I am driven instead towards the preservation of what is perceived to be the sacred act of life. It is this responsibility that I will now celebrate and hope to share with those who seek to do the same.
